Pune Bicycle Championship 2013 at Lavasa
Lavasa hosted the Pune Bicycle Championship (PBCh) organized by Lifecycle Mall, Pune. The race witnessed 300 zealous and high-spiritednature-sport enthusiasts, who cycled along the steep uphills from Temghar Dam to Lavasa.
There were 6 categories of races which kick-started at 7AM and all of them were flagged off by Mr. Satish Kamat. Dy. City Manager, Lavasa Corporation Limited.
There were participants from Mumbai, Delhi, Bangalore, Pune and Hyderabad who enthusiastically participated in the race.
The fastest cyclist, Ashish K, navigated the twists and turns and completed the race in 29.07 minutes!
After the rigorous race, the participants and volunteers enjoyed a sumptuous breakfast spread by Waterfront Shaw at the Lakeside Promenade after which the winners of the race were felicitated at the prize distribution ceremony. |
